We see a City that needs better management and care.
Residents are curious why the practical solutions and recommendations by consultants have been ignored?

You may have noticed very few residents participate in our own City.
What stops residents from speaking up besides being ignored?

They feel intimidated by having to choose sides.
They are afraid that it is waste of time.
What can we do to improve participation?

Safety

Ideas and solutions are ignored. Even our walking is not safe. Talking about police, there is no transparency. We see a lot of police show up for marketing events for local politicians in name of our safety, but what about regular patrols?

Partisanship Vs Responsibility.

That is what our charter wanted. Residents bring diverse experiences and have worked with all sides. We have good smart folks in our Cerritos putting in a lot of volunteered work and hours. Do not ignore them!

The city also hires consultants. It is up to council members to listen to them or ignore them. In our city, the council is ignoring both consultants and residents.

Residents bring their experience to the table. We need fiscally responsible Cerritos

The city of Cerritos is growing. We will be in a different City for the Next 20 years. If we stuff our City council from political insiders ring, we will keep wasting money and pay more taxes. We will not get the streets to get fixed faster or get the police to respond to our needs if we ignore residents' recommendations.

Residents have been speaking about what is important.
My Platform & Resident’s Agenda is a campaign about the common sense practical solutions our City and Council have ignored.
We deserve a responsive city. We deserve to be heard and not be ignored. The council must remember, being heard is important to our Residents.
